Chris Moon


A mortgage professional with a wide variety of leadership experience, Chris Moon develops and oversees Colten Mortgage’s operations as well as serving as its Compliance Officer.

In addition to an extensive compliance background, Chris has served as: Vice President of Mortgage Technology; Closing Manager; Wholesale Operations Manager; and started and led servicing for two different mortgage companies.  Furthermore, he has worked for large national banks, nationally known mortgage bankers and regional start-ups.

Using insight gained from his long and varied experience in process and technology development, Chris is focused on bringing teams of talented people together in pursuit of a common goal – making the client’s journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Maureen Henry

Operations Post Closer

Maureen began her mortgage career working as a receptionist a little over 25 years ago. On the job training led her into the areas of Closing and Post-Closing. Most of her experience has been in Funding and Post-Closing which includes funding loans and shipping them to investors, FHA and VA insuring and trailing documents. Maureen works hard while having fun with her co-workers.

For over 25 years, Brant has helped home buyers and homeowners, regional and community banks, and mortgage bankers and brokers with their mortgage lending needs. During his career, Brant has worked in many aspects of lending: Consumer Finance, Retail Mortgage Lending, and TPO (wholesale and correspondent channels). He has managed all aspects of lending from company formation to systems to origination through investor delivery and servicing. Brant has a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree from UOP and has several industry licenses.

Brant’s experience and ethical, client-focused approach doesn’t mean much if the company doesn’t mirror his approach. Colten Mortgage will operate with the highest caliber of ethical standards. Commitments will be taken seriously. Client and investor relationships will revolve around honesty, integrity, courtesy, and respect. Brant, his wife Shelly and kids Faith and Van enjoy all Colorado has to offer!

John began his Mortgage lending career in 2001 as a Wholesale Account Executive. During this time, John established key relationships with top Home Builders, Mortgage Brokers, and Correspondent Lenders with exceptional growth and award winning success. John also has over 10 years of experience in residential real estate, helping buyers and sellers navigate complex contractual agreements and negotiations. He served as a Senior Airman in the United States Airforce and holds a bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership/Entrepreneurship from Colorado State University.

Molly has 23+ years of experience in the mortgage industry.  She has the unique and distinguishing qualification of working in both sales and operations successfully.   Because of this, she can bridge common gaps that occur in most mortgage banking organizations and create a team atmosphere that is unparalleled. She uses her passion for organization and her understanding of achieving bottom lines to provide A+ customer service and timely delivery of all loans.  Molly also remains a licensed Loan Originator to continue to understand and keep up with all sides of the mortgage business. 

Molly is a Colorado native and holds a degree in Finance from the University of Denver, where she also played for the women’s basketball team on scholarship.

Kristy has been in the Mortgage Industry for 17 years.  She has worked primarily in Processing, beginning as a Processing Assistant, then moving to Processor and Team Lead.  Additionally, she has worked as a Junior Underwriter purchasing loans from various mortgage origination companies. Kristy has a real passion for the mortgage industry and can’t imagine doing anything different.

She is a Colorado native and loves everything the state has to offer.  She loves to be outdoors and there is no better place to be for outdoor activities than Colorado!

After years in the Radio, Restaurant and Wine industries, Nathan began his New Home Sales Career in 2012 after moving to Denver, Colorado.

First spending a few years learning the ropes with National Builder, Meritage Homes, Nathan followed with three very successful years with local Colorado Builder, Lokal Homes.  Nathan watched, listened and learned the ins and outs of the New Home industry to become a well-rounded, positive and educated Sales Manager. Nathan spent 2015 to 2017 as one of the top 5% New Home Sales Associates in Colorado in terms of overall Sales, Closings and Commissions while most proudly boasting a 96% return of “Above Average” or “Excellent” rating from the closing surveys from the Homeowners he worked with.

In May of 2018 Nathan was brought on to Colten Mortgage as The Director of Builder Client Relations in order to assist Colten Mortgage and the Loan Officer team to more effectively communicate with the Builders Colten services in order to provide an elite level of service.

Nathan’s passion, attention to detail, time management skills and most importantly, his customer first mentality, goes a long way in helping to provide the homeowners an unmatched personal experience.

is a proud California native.  Now living in Denver’s Berkeley neighborhood with his amazing wife, Kim Penrose and their two loveable dogs Baxter & Annie Hall. Nathan enjoys hiking, fitness, cooking and spending quality time with great people, eating great food and especially drinking great wine!
